The Secret Lives Of Dorks

In THE SECRET LIVES OF DORKS, Payton (Gaelan Connell) is a pathetic dork, a comic book geek whose High School career is one hopeless faux pas after another. Yet he's a dreamer and madly in love with the head cheerleader Carrie (Riley Voelkel), who he is determined to win over. But she is wise to his desperate advances, so to get off his radar she creates a plan to push him into the arms of a dorkette at the school, Samantha (Vanessa Marano).
In this High School equation: Peyton wants Carrie; Carrie wants Peyton to instead hook up with Samantha; Samantha wants Peyton. But even the simplest formula can equal disaster when a cheerleader tries to play matchmaker to a dork and a dorkette. After a chance encounter with Carrie's football player boyfriend Clark (Beau Mirchoff), Payton is brought into their social circle and doesn't really care about their motives; he's just happy to be near Carrie. She tries to improve his social skills in order to ask Samantha out and her plan just might work, but this is Payton we're talking about.

With adult wisdom imparted by the likes of Payton's dad (Jim Belushi), his teacher (Jennifer Tilly), and NFL Hall of Famer Mike Ditka, who offers his own brand of "Ditka On..." self-help lessons, Payton's life shifts into high gear from lonely misery to utter disaster.

Probably the world's first animated opera. During her training to become a nurse, Bunny meets, by mere chance, the handsome fighter pilot Bear. Romance ensues and they form a couple. When Bear is about to propose, they are suddenly interrupted by an international conflict. Duty calls and Bear is sent into battle. "Love and War" won best animated/experimental short film at Los Angeles Film Festival 2007, best short film at Nordisk Panorama 2007 and at the Golden Lion Film Festival 2007. "We chose this film for its brilliant craftsmanship and epic scope. Writer -director -cinematographer -animator -librettist Fredrik Emilson proves himself to be the Orson Welles of stop-motion opera cinema with puppets." Shorts Competition Jury - Los Angeles Film Festival

Noah

No sé. como que no la siento "epic enough" , pero bueno, tengo que estar en la sala a oscuras, con la música, y además ¿a quién queremos engañar? ...es Emma Watson, claro que la veremos.

New Marvel Studios Logo

Fans who saw Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” this past weekend experienced something a bit different just before the film began, as the traditional Marvel Studios logo morphed into its next generation, complete with the studio’s very first official fanfare!
“We designed the very first Marvel logo for the first Spider-Man film,” remembers Feige. “We’ve used that logo for eleven years, and with ‘Thor: The Dark World,’ it felt like a good time to update it because this is the very first film that only has the Marvel logo in front of it. You look back at the other films, and they’ve also featured our studio partners’ or distribution partners’ logos. But now that we are our own entity within the Walt Disney Company, it is only the Marvel logo in front of the movies. So that felt like the time to update it and have something that is more substantial as a standalone logo in front of our features.”
“My favorite part of it is, like all great studio logos, you need a fanfare, and we’d never had that before,” adds Feige. “We sometimes started the score of the movie, sometimes just had sound effects over it, sometimes had a song over it that leads into the beginning of the movie. So this is the first time that we have an actual, wonderful fanfare to accompany our logo. We turned to Brian Tyler to compose it for us, who this year has done two movies for us and two of what I believe to be two of the best scores in any Marvel Studios film, for ‘Iron Man 3’ and ‘Thor: The Dark World.’ So he thankfully was willing to and happy to create a spectacular standalone fanfare for us.

The LEGO® Movie - Official Main Trailer

"The LEGO® Movie," the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO® adventure, directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, opens in theaters February 7, 2014. It stars the vocal talents of Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman and Alison Brie, with Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman. The original 3D computer animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared
